If the Supreme Court is not saved then democracy will fail.
For the first time in the history of the country, four judges of the Supreme Court came to the media, Justice J. Chelameswar, Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice Madan Lokur and Justice Kurian Joseph. Raising questions over the functioning of the Chief Justice by the judges, the judges said that the administrative work of the Supreme Court is not being done properly.

Justice J. Chelameswar said, "We want to thank all our media. This is an unprecedented event in any country's history because we have been forced to do this briefing, we did this press conference so that no one would say that we sold our soul.
Justice Chelameswar said, "In the Supreme Court there was a lot of things that should not have happened. We felt that our country has accountability and we tried to persuade the Chief Justice, but if our efforts failed, the institution would not be saved, democracy would fail.
The judge of the Supreme Court said that the Chief Justice tried to persuade several times to take corrective steps, but unfortunately that our efforts failed. He said that the administration in the Supreme Court is not doing the right thing.
